About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Grade 2 Radiographer, ideally MRI trained or wishing to train in MRI with at least 2 years clinical experience including CT training. Upon successful completion of orientation to the Western Health service and MRI credentialling you will participate, with your colleagues to support our 24/7 service.

Western Health's MRI service is expanding into the New Footscray Hospital, doubling its MRI fleet and services covered will include; neuro, MSK, body, cardiac, and paediatric imaging. This role offers extensive opportunities for career development, in a growing MRI service and hospital.

Key responsibilities:

  • Dedication to further training and career development in MRI
  • Attention to detail with focus on MRI safety
  • Perform high quality diagnostic imaging across radiographic modalities
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective imaging services
  • Contribute to patient care by ensuring imaging is timely, accurate, and patient-centred, across 24/7 service

About you:

  • AHPRA registered Diagnostic Radiographer
  • Holds Victorian Radiation User license and Working With Children Check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commitment to patient care and safety
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive, team environment
