Independent Locksmiths & Security is a trusted name in commercial and government security solutions. Since 1973, we've been delivering excellence in locksmithing, master key systems, door hardware, access control, CCTV, and safes. We service clients across the Sydney metropolitan area, and through contractors, we provide a national service.

The Role:

We're seeking a qualified Locksmith Technician to join our team at The University of Sydney. The role involves general locksmith duties; creating, pinning and installation of the University BiLock Exclusive system; creating and coding of master key systems using the Promaster 8 software; installation and maintenance of door hardware. Planned preventative maintenance across the Camperdown Campus is done on a fortnightly roster. This is a full time position based at the Univsersity Workshop on site.

What We're Looking For:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Locksmith Trade Certificate
  • Class 2BC NSW Security Licence and a White Card
  • A current NSW Driver's Licence
  • A strong work ethic and a customer-focused attitude
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with Archibus job management software is ideal, but training will be provided.
