About our Opportunity

Our Windows Division is looking for a sales hunter to work out of our Albury office. The hunter will prospect new trade customers, service existing residential builder clients, and follow up on quote leads and enquiries received for our Windows and Doors products.

The role will predominantly be on the road as you strategically canvas new Windows and Door business opportunities, targeting new customers, meeting existing clients, promoting, quoting, and providing product information while being present and accessible to our customer base. You will diligently plan, organise, and carry out selling activities that will enable you to exceed your sales targets and contribute to sustainable, profitable growth.

In addition, you'll:

• account manage and develop a new customer base
• strategically execute business development initiatives to generate sales leads and achieve KPIs, revenue and margin targets
• develop product and industry knowledge
• manage contacts through Sales Databases
• interpret technical design plans
• Undertake plan take-offs
• preparing selling activity reports
• attend, as required, out-of-hours industry events such as Trade Shows, Awards Ceremonies, Sales and Industry Meetings and Promotional Events.

About You

We're looking for an experienced sales hunter within the building industry ideally with window sales or similar building products. Leveraging your ability to build positive relationships will be a must along with your capability to negotiate, and close deals, combined with your ability to proactively find and develop new business will be key to your success in this role. Seeking a self-motivated, results-focused sales professional with a strong service ethos.

You also need:

• experience in similar channels working with architects and builders and knowledge of the building process
• ability to manage work independently
• strong people skills with the ability to liaise with a range of people at different levels
• ability to understand the technical product, regulatory and industry knowledge requirements
• ability to use CRM systems as a tool for activity sales planning and customer records
