**About the role
Temporary opportunity to contribute to the Speech Pathology Department and multidisciplinary teams at Redcliffe Hospital.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Demonstrate a sound level of competency in the provision of direct clinical assistance within the context of Speech Pathology, to implement therapy programs and interventions in order to achieve optimal outcomes and client safety. Assist other Allied Health Assistants as required to ensure priority workloads are completed.
Undertake specified patient care activities which may be performed independently or under supervision as directed by a Speech Pathologist.
Prepare treatment media (equipment or materials) as needed by the Speech Pathologists, and maintain work areas in compliance with Workplace Health and Safety guidelines.
