Senior Investment Analyst – Funds Management – Independent Institutional Investment Fund

This leading independent investment fund is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to provide specialised analysis and oversight across mandates, funds, and co-investments managed by external specialists. The role involves shaping investment outcomes, guiding strategy development, and delivering detailed reporting to senior leadership and governance committees.

You will manage one junior analyst, leveraging advanced quantitative tools and subscription-based data services to assess fund performance against benchmarks, conduct due diligence, and support strategic initiatives. The position offers significant autonomy, early responsibility, and the opportunity to influence investment decisions across all asset classes, both traditional and alternative, at the highest level.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience as a Portfolio Analyst within funds management, with exposure to debt assets, listed and private equity, venture capital, and derivatives strategies an advantage. Strong technical skills in financial modelling, valuation, and quantitative analysis are essential, alongside the ability to communicate complex insights clearly to senior stakeholders. Familiarity with platforms such as Refinitiv, eVestment, or Morningstar is highly regarded.
