Working at CQUniversityAn exciting permanent opportunity is available for a motivated and creative professional to join the Strategic Engagement Directorate. You will play a vital role in supporting internal and external communications, reporting to the Media and Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator, you will also work closely with and take direction from the University's Chief of Staff, Deputy Director of Corporate Communications and other senior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of key internal and external communication campaigns and projects.
- Create engaging written content for media, social media, publications and other platforms.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver timely and effective communication messages.
- Develop and publish digital content (images, videos, audio) for CQUniversity's promotional channels.
- Monitor and manage engagement across digital platforms, including scheduling posts and responding to content.
- Assist with media liaison, event coordination, and capturing multimedia content.
- Analyse and report on communication and engagement activity, including media and social media performance.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to be flexible and resilient in a fast-paced environment when priorities may change.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and digital media platforms.
- Qualifications in communications, media, marketing or related field. (Desirable)
- Experience in visual communication (e.g. graphic design, photography, videography). (Desirable)
- Open driver's license plus a working with children (blue card) or ability to attain.
