About the Role

This position will plan, develop, deliver and review training and assessment across a diverse range of disciplines, ensuring compliance with Council procedures and all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements. Working closely with stakeholders the role will conduct post-training workplace-based Verification of Competency (VOC).

This position plays a key role in verification of competency through Training and Assessment.

About You

Are you passionate about safety, skilled in heavy vehicle operations, and ready to make a real impact? We're seeking a dedicated Work Health and Safety Business Partner (Vehicle Operations) to lead safety initiatives and training programs that keep our teams safe, skilled, and compliant.

You'll bring current units of competency and qualifications, along with hands-on experience operating a wide range of plant, equipment, and machinery.

You will need a Certificate III in Driving Operations or significant experience in heavy vehicle operations .

Your knowledge of the Heavy Vehicle National Law and Chain of Responsibility framework will be a valuable asset, as will your current Queensland HR class driver's licence.
