About Kids' Early Learning

Here at Council, we own and operate a childcare business, Kids' Early Learning, with a portfolio of 24 Childcare and Preschool centres, 8 Out of School Care services and over 70 family daycare educators.

Kids' Early Learning has approximately 300 full-time, part-time and casual staff, and operates throughout the Blacktown local government area, serving over 1700 families and providing care and learning needs for their children.

About the opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced permanent, full-time OSHC Child Care Assistant to join our vibrant team for Kids' Early Learning Colyton OSHC.

In this fulfilling role, you will work split shifts (AM and PM), helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

• Experience in the Early Childhood Field
• Certificate III in Children's Services
• Completion of Child Protection Course - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm
• Current certificate HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• Current certificate HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting or Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training certificate that meets requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulation 2018
• Working with Children Check clearance valid for paid work.

Desirable:

• Current class C driver's licence
• Computer literate
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service
• Ability to work within a team environment.

Remuneration and benefits

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.

• Entry level for this position starts at $1,197.30 per week
• 35-hour working week
• Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
