We are currently seeking motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurses on Brisbane's North side who share our passion for caring for people in the community and supporting them to live their best lives.

We have multiple casual positions available to support clients across the North Brisbane region.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current registration with AHPRA (Enrolled Nurse)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Blue Card / Yellow Card
  • Current Police Check
  • Class C Driver's License and access to a fully comprehensively insured vehicle (kilometer allowance provided)
  • Access to a smartphone device
  • Proof of vaccinations (Hepatitis B/C serology, Chickenpox, MMR, ADTP)
  • Available to work weekdays and weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Adherence to Focused Health Care's Code of Conduct and Confidentiality Agreement

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in community nursing or exposure to high care environments
  • Expertise in aged care, palliative care, disability support, continence management, gerontology, and complex nursing care

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work independently within a community setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within your role description and Scope of Practice
  • Perform nursing tasks including assessments, wound care, medication management, continence care, cognition assessments, care planning, and case management
  • Monitor and respond to clinical deterioration
  • Safely transport participants when required (vehicle expenses reimbursed)
  • Support and orientate new staff members
  • Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
