Helia, as Australia's first Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI) provider, with over 50 years expertise in the Australian housing market are in the process of re-inventing ourselves.
We exist to accelerate financial wellbeing through home ownership, now and for the future. Our mission is to create innovative and tailored solutions in partnership with our customers. We aim to do this efficiently and conveniently, leveraging state of the art technology and data solutions.
Summary
TechOps follows a squad/Spotify model – we form in self managing teams to solve key business problems. Each squad is full DevOps – they build, enhance, and operate their asset. Team members need to be 'specialist generalists' ie each person brings their key domain knowledge but also eager to work on other technologies or roles to ensure the squad meets its outcomes. To promote knowledge transfer, informal learning and solve problems in new ways we also form Communities of Practices to push forward new tools and techniques.
The Graduate role works in our Digital Solutions Agile squads. They will rapidly prototype, build and enhance new and existing solutions using AWS, Snowflake and Microsoft. We are currently moving our core operational systems to SAAS platforms, and the cloud (AWS) and we love finding ways to use microservices architecture. We are also the custodians of our financial system: SAP. You will learn SAP administration and help coordinate and deploy work with our managed service provider to ensure SAP meeting accounting teams requirements. The squads roadmap has strong data, AI and automation activities meaning we will actively support your growth in AWS, Snowflake, Python and AI.
TechOps has a welcoming and supportive learning culture so you will be provided with the tools, development, courseware and training resources, mentoring and leadership support to build on your existing technical skills, get certified, and grow your capabilities. You will actively participate in our Developer Community of Practice to learn more and best practices that you can implement.
