Mater Research are looking for a Neurology Research Fellow to join the team This part time, maximum term role will be based at our South Brisbane campus for a two-year period.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to work closely with the Cognitive Neurology Research Group in conducting high-quality research projects involving human participants with cognitive disorders due to degenerative brain disease.

Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits
What you'll be doing
As a Neurology Research Fellow, you will be responsible for supporting the Group Leader in developing, coordinating, and undertaking research projects. Your key duties will include conducting original research in cognitive neurology, enrolling in a PhD program through the University of Queensland, attending cognitive neurology clinics, and contributing to clinical trials at Mater Hospital.
About you
You are a dedicated and qualified individual looking to make a difference in the field of cognitive neurology research, who holds:
- AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner
- Completion of two full-time equivalent years of core neurology training OR recent completion of neurology training OR demonstrated commitment to training in Neurology
- Commensurate research experience within neurology and neurosciences
- A track record in Neurosciences Research
- A commitment to Mater Group's philosophy and mission, with personal attributes of integrity, tact, and respect for confidentiality
