The role

We are looking for a Founding Engineer who loves delivering high-quality features, solving big problems and talking to our incredible customers. Join a small, ambitious team shaping a product that educators
love
and families and children benefit from every day. If you're product-focused, AI-comfortable and hungry for impact, this is the role for you. You will work end-to-end, from architecture to code to customer feedback, and integrate AI into everything we do.

We work together from our Melbourne CBD office
4 days a week
, with
1 day WFH
. This balance keeps us highly collaborative while still giving you space for focused remote work.

While no two days will be the same, you will:

  • Build and release high-quality features across web & mobile
  • Integrate AI-powered workflows that make educators' jobs easier
  • Talk to our customers, understand their needs and iterate fast
  • Shape our product architecture and technical direction

We are looking for:

  • AI-first mindset: comfortable coding with and for AI
  • Product-focused thinking: solve the right problem, not just any problem
  • Confidence talking to customers and turning feedback into features

Bonus points for:

  • Clean architecture know-how
  • Experience in the edtech space
  • Comfort across the stack (TypeScript, , Dart)
  • Flutter experience
  • Firestore/NoSQL experience
