About the Opportunity

We're looking for a Part-Time Finance Assistant to join our supportive and welcoming team. This position offers 24 hours per week, spread over three days, with a competitive salary based on experience. For the right candidate, there's potential to move into a full-time role in 2025Key responsibilities include:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • General finance and office administration tasks
  • Payroll processing (to provide coverage during periods of leave for the current Payroll Officer)

About You

We're looking for a motivated team player who brings:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar finance or administrative role
  • Certificate IV in Finance or Accounting (or currently studying towards it)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a team environment
  • A service-oriented approach and commitment to client satisfaction
  • High levels of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience with MYOB and/or SIMPRO
  • Familiarity with payroll processing
  • Positive work attitude and great work ethic,

The successful applicant will be required to obtain a National Criminal History Check & pass a Drug & Alcohol Test
