Responsibilities and Duties

  • Carry out scheduled servicing on a variety of makes and models including a high number of modified 4wds.
  • Conduct repairs and upgrades including brakes, clutches, suspension, wheels, tyres.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with experienced mechanics to learn best practices.
  • Ensure work area is safe, tidy and clean at all times.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • MUST have a valid manual drivers' licence and reliable transport
  • MUST have already commenced an apprenticeship in Light Vehicle mechanics
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Ability to put in a solid day's work
  • Motivated with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrate skill levels that match year level standards in the trade
  • Ability to follow instruction
  • Have high mechanical aptitude and a passion for mechanical work
  • Physically fit and healthy
