Carol is wonderfully supportive in the amount of support, resources and professional development she provides to her clinicians. There is a lovely warm feel to the workplace. Clinicians are very supportive of each other and continually aim to help each other with assessment ideas, resources and therapeutic approaches. I consider my colleagues not only as colleagues but as my friends as well. You also have the opportunity for clinical growth through experiences with a varied caseload. This can include everything from speech sound disorders to language and swallowing difficulties in both paediatric and adult age range. Leaps & Bounds are very generous in supplying clinicians with a yearly budget for professional development. I have already gained certifications in my first year as a new graduate that I wouldn't have been able to afford without this support. Finally, I love working at Leaps & Bounds because I get to work in an environment where people truly care for their clients and colleagues."
"My career at Leaps & Bounds has been amazing. After 11 years of service, I have always been encouraged to express my passion and commitment to help clients with their communication needs. Encouraged by a positive, supportive director, I have been given the independence and motivation to achieve my personal career goals in a collegiate, flexible working environment which continues to provide me opportunities to enhance my skills, interests and experiences. My career has been nurtured by giving me the opportunity and confidence to manage my caseload of clients independently with full administration support.
