What we're looking for...
A hard-working, professional & charismatic person, who will be available to run full day guided wine tasting tours to Tamborine Mountain, Montville & Maleny, Brisbane & the Scenic Rim. Ideally, we are after a tour guide that has (or is willing to obtain) their LR license, to accommodate our larger group bookings.

The right candidate must have...

  • Strong social skills (a "people person")

  • Customer service skills

  • A great work ethic / hard-worker

  • Time management skills

  • Be a safe and confident driver (manual)

  • Have an open manual licence (Australian)

  • Feel confident talking in front of groups

  • A willingness to learn and adapt quickly

  • Available to work at least one day of the weekend

    Bonus points for...

  • RSA

  • LR / MR / HR licence

  • Tour guide experience

  • Wine knowledge

  • Beer knowledge

  • A passion for food, wine or beer

What the job will entail...

  • Driving a small bus (12 seater HiAce) or larger 25 seater bus (for LR licence holders)

  • Conduct informative wine tastings

  • Speaking in front of our tour groups (groups from 4-25 people)

  • Accurately / punctually following an itinerary

  • Entertaining and informing customers

  • Cleaning / maintenance of the bus

ADDITIONAL INFO

The successful candidate will need to have (or have the ability to obtain) a General Driver Authorisation License. To obtain this you must have:

  • A current open drivers licence

  • Aquire a Vehicle health check from your GP

  • Have a clean criminal history record

The bus depot is located near Springfield (4300), where your shift will start. Please only apply if this commute is suitable for you.

Position: Tour Guide (Casual)
Shifts: roughly 1-2 per week (7-10 hour days)
***Please note this is a casual position. We are not offering full time positions at this stage, however it may become available in the future***
Suitable for: anyone studying or working part time, start up entrepreneurs, candidates looking for extra work, semi-retired or workers who are looking to take a step back from full time work commitments, stay-at-home parents who are slowly getting back into the work force, anyone with a background in hospitality, retail, tourism, entertainment, marketing or customer service roles.
