We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our team. This role can be full time or part time (minimum 20 hours per week), offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle and career goals.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics and either studying or have completed your CPA/CA.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Australian Public Practice Accounting.
  • A solid understanding of tax issues such as Division 7A, GST, and FBT.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

About the role

As an Accountant at Highview you will:

  • Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of tax planning strategies and initiatives with guidance from manager.
  • Liaise with clients to assist with answering their queries.
  • Liaise with the ATO and other third parties on behalf of the client when required.
