Job Opportunity: Experienced Mental Health Support Workers (Female Client)

Location: Chester Hill

Employment Type: Contract / ABN Required

Hourly Rate: Competitive

We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced mental health support workers to support a 30-year-old female client living with schizophrenia and PTSD. This is a contract position and ideal for workers with a passion for supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a current ABN
  • Must have own reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence
  • Up-to-date vehicle insurance (comprehensive or appropriate for work use)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • National Police Check
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a broader care team
  • Strong communication skills and emotional resilience
  • Must be engaging, reliable, and consistent

Desirable:

  • Mental health qualifications or training (e.g., Cert IV in Mental Health)
  • Previous experience working with NDIS participants

Job Type: Subcontract

Pay: $35.00 – $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 60 per week
