We are a small, modern, family oriented dental practice in beautiful bayside Brighton. With two experienced dentists and a loyal patient base, we pride ourselves on delivering a gentle and caring dental experience, ensuring our patients feel completely relaxed and at ease.

We are looking for a highly motivated and personable Dental Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care and wants to build a long term career in a supportive, professional environment.

About the role:

This is a permanent part time position, 1-2 days/week, which would be suited to someone who is reliable and committed to delivering high-quality patient care. You'll be involved in all aspects of dental assisting, with occasional reception duties as needed. Some flexibility to cover for staff who are away on leave or during periods of illness would also be required.

The position involves:

  • Chairside assisting
  • Completion of sterilisation and infection control to a high standard
  • Maintaining a clean and organised clinical environment
  • General cleaning duties
  • Stock management
  • Assisting with reception duties as needed

About You:

  • Friendly,  professional and reliable
  • Passionate about patient care and comfort
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Adaptable and a team player with a strong work ethic
  • Self motivated and demonstrates initiative
  • Qualified in Dental Assisting (Cert III or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in reception/admin duties is an advantage but not essential
