The Role:

Gather, by Cater Care, seeks to appoint a passionate Chef Manager at one of our key education sites in Glenfield, NSW.

Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to the staff and students and values a well-run kitchen without working weekends.

Roster:Monday to Friday 6am start (40 hours per week)

Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 plus super

What This Role Involves:

  • Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
  • Ongoing menu development & refinement with a focus on seasonal produce
  • Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
  • Strong stakeholder engagement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Bulk cooking experience
  • Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
  • Strong communication skills and a pride in personal appearance & hygiene
