Position Summary:

Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands & AC Hotel by Marriott Melbourne Southbank are seeking an open-minded, proactive and caring Cluster Hotel Accountant to join our established and enthusiastic Cluster Finance team

Your main duties as Cluster Hotel Accountant includes:

• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and hotel policies.
• Record and reconcile daily income, payments and bank transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with internal departments to ensure financial discipline and cost control.
• Manage payroll, employee reimbursements, and related accounting processes.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecast preparation.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum two years experience in a similar position.
• Experience in a Hotel Finance Team is highly regarded, but not required.
• Working rights in Australia.
• Enthusiastic to escalate your career.
• Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment.
• Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude.
