New Tech Logistics is a fast-growing, energetic refrigerated transport company dedicated to providing reliable, compliant, and efficient logistics solutions across Australia. With a focus on excellence and innovation, we are now looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable to join our team as our current team member transitions out of the role.

Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage and oversee the company's incoming payments and ensure accurate and timely billing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Generate and issue invoices to clients accurately and on time.

· Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.

· Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are properly accounted for and posted.

· Collaborate with sales and operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies.

· Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status for management.

· Process customer payments and post them to the appropriate accounts.

· Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and communications.

· Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring experience and confidence to the role and will thrive in a fast-paced transport and logistics environment. Specifically, you will have:

  • Proven accounts receivable experience in the transport or logistics industry (preferred).
  • Knowledge of driver invoicing and payment collection.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency essential).
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
