Student Learning Equity Support Advisor
• Location: Hawthorn East
• Commencing 8-10 hours/week negotiable until the end of 2025, then full-time parental backfill position from January month appointment)

We are seeking a student focused Student Learning Equity Support Advisor to join our collaborative and community focused workplace for a parental leave backfill position. The ideal candidate needs to align to our values of Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Professionalism and Collaboration.
This role involves working with our students with identified disability or learning equity support needs and to ensure that they have equitable access to education. You will be the primary point of contact for these students who may be seeking general support, advice and assistance. You will also ensure students are linked to appropriate internal and external parties for further support when required.
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Experience establishing Learning Access Plans
• A strengths-based approach in working with staff and teaching staff to put in place reasonable adjustments to meet student needs
• Demonstrated experience with assessing and monitoring the students to ensure the success of these arrangements
• A confident and competent manner on the phone, in person and in written communications as well as enjoying helping people
• Exceptional customer service and collaboration skills
• A relevant qualification in disability, health, or a community services related discipline.
