Job Description:

• Measure and assess the installation area for accurate turf placement
• Cut and shape artificial grass rolls to fit the designated area
• Seam multiple turf pieces together using adhesive, joining tape
• Secure turf edges with nails , u-pins or specialized adhesive
• Apply infill materials (sand or rubber) to improve turf durability and stability
• Use a power broom or rake to brush the turf fibers for a natural look
• Inspect the installation for any loose areas or imperfections

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a carpet layer is required for consideration.
• Experience with carpet installation tools and techniques.
• Good analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Other Requirements:

• Have a Working with Children Check or be eligible.
• Possess a valid Victorian driver's license.
• Must have own vehicle for transportation to the warehouse or job site if required.

This role is unique and rewarding. In most cases, the grass will be in position. We do an extensive range of landscaping, commercial, and sports installations. The necessary are easy to pick up as synthetic grass is easier to install than carpet.
