What's the role?Responsibilities include:
  • Conduct due diligence and transaction monitoring activities
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting to meet compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely outcomes
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information in line with Westpac's privacy standards
  • Take ownership of tasks and ensure delivery meets service level agreements
  • Identify and escalate potential risks, including financial, compliance or regulatory requirements
What do I need?
  • Previous banking/finance experience is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) legislation is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt and drive change in dynamic environments
  • Effective relationship management skills to assess complex matters and make sound, timely decisions aligned with organizational policy and procedures
  • Highly developed analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environments, adaptable and agile
  • Ability to investigate complex problems and make clear and timely decisions
