We are a friendly, pet & client- focused veterinary clinic seeking a qualified and experience Cert IV Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a maternity cover contract from mid- October 2025 to the end of June 2026.

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, and enjoy building positive relationships with both colleagues and clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care
  • Ability to assist in surgery including anaesthesia monitoring
  • Ability to assist with medical nursing including performing in-house pathology, radiographs and hospital care
  • Assist veterinarian in consultations
  • Maintain a clean and organised clinic environment
  • Manage reception duties and keeping the day flowing smoothly
  • Deliver excellent customer service and contribute to a collaborative team

What we are looking for:

  • Experienced Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
  • Minimum 2+ years of veterinary nursing experience required
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm, and great with people and pets
  • Australian work rights required for this position

Position details:

  • Contract: Maternity cover (Oct 2025 to June 2026), possibility of extension
  • Hours: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and potentially Saturday
  • Saturday work is optional
  • Clinic hours: 8am to 5pm (weekdays), 8am to 12 pm (Saturday)
