ArchiCAD Draftsperson  - Residential Builder/Developer

 Location: Prestons, NSW
 Salary: $70K – $90K + Super (commensurate with experience)

Offering a range of services from House & Land packages to Contract Builds and Spec Homes, they are committed to innovation in design and construction.

Their team, consisting of over 20 professionals, is experiencing significant growth, with plans to expand annual builds from 100 to homes over the next few years. Due to this expansion, they are looking for an experienced ArchiCAD Draftsperson to join their team in a role that focusses on detailed technical production.

The Role

As an ArchiCAD Draftsperson, you will play a critical role in the technical aspects of residential design. The focus will be on production drafting, including preparation of DA, CDC, and CC documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Work across various project types, including single and double storey, duplexes, customs.
• Prepare accurate, compliant DA, CDC, and CC documentation using ArchiCAD, adhering to local regulations and company standards.
• Collaborate effectively with external consultants, internal design team, Sales Staff and Estimators to ensure seamless project delivery.

About You

• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in residential drafting
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD
• Strong understanding of construction detailing, compliance, and relevant industry standards.
• In-depth knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), local council regulations, and Australian standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address design challenges and site constraints.
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.
