About the role

As an Industrial Door Technician at Doorworx, you'll play a key role in keeping industrial doors operating safely and efficiently across commercial and industrial sites. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Edinburgh SA 5111, working within a supportive and collaborative team.

What you'll be doing

  • Carrying out maintenance and repairs on roller shutters, overhead doors, and high-speed doors
  • Diagnosing faults and delivering timely, effective solutions
  • Performing scheduled servicing and inspections to extend asset life
  • Keeping accurate records of all work completed
  • Working closely with the Doorworx team to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Following all safety and environmental requirements

What we're looking for

  • Trade qualifications (mechanical/electrical) or equivalent industry experience
  • Hands-on experience with industrial door systems (or related mechanical/electrical equipment)
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills with customers and colleagues
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
