About the opportunity:

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced professional for the role of Electrical Construction Supervisor.

About the role:

Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, the role is responsible for:

  • Maintaining electrical safety standards across the site.
  • Assisting with electrical commissioning of the construction project ensuring compliance with current electrical codes and maintenance specifications.
  • Troubleshooting issues and faults as they arise.
  • Drafting Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
  • Issuance of Authority to Work (ATW) permits.
  • Review project proposals and electrical drawings, providing suggestions for improvements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding scheduling to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Develop electrical procedures as required to support efficient and safe completion of the project.

About you:

To be our new Electrical Construction Supervisor, you will need:

  • Cert IV electrical trade qualification in electrotechnology, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Digital literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of state electrical and safety codes.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.

Applicants who can demonstrate the following will be highly regarded:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
