About the Opportunity -

Due to continued business growth and success, Silentium Defence is expanding our team. We are seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) who will thrive in a dynamic environment, delivering exceptional customer support while helping us expand our global footprint.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this role will involve regular domestic and international travel to customer locations, trade shows, and industry events, ensuring on-site support and engagement.

In this position, you will:

• Support Business Development as a sales representative by identifying potential customers, following up on leads, and presenting solutions tailored to client needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring proactive engagement and ongoing satisfaction with Silentium Defence products and services.
• Support demonstrations, trials, and interactive training sessions for new customers to ensure they fully understand and can leverage Silentium Defence products.
• Provide customer technical, repair and maintenance support, ensuring optimal system performance and resolving technical issues efficiently.
• Support the development of training systems to best represent Silentium Defence products.
• Represent Silentium Defence at national and international trade shows, serving as a trusted brand ambassador.

About You -

To be successful, you will have:

• Australian citizenship (mandatory).
• Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance.
• A current Australian passport (valid for international travel).
• A valid Australian driver's licence.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to plan and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical aptitude with the capability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in Defence or the Defence Industry in a similar role.
• Proven ability to operate in both technical support and sales/business development capacities.
• Experience in delivering customer training and representing organisations at trade shows or industry events.
• Relevant technical degree, diploma, or certification in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Employment Eligibility -

• Applicants must be an Australian citizen and have ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance, with a minimum requirement of NV1 clearance.
• Candidates must also meet ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements.
