This is a unique leadership opportunity for a full-time Diploma qualified Room Leader to join an exceeding service in Carindale.

About the service

This family-owned and operated service, located in the heart of Carindale, is exceeding rated and can accommodate 100 children when at full occupancy.

The service boasts spacious natural surroundings and terrific indoor spaces adorned with natural elements where children can develop strength and self-confidence. Staff turnover is very low, with the average staff member being with the company for 5 to 20 years

The centre's philosophy revolves around nurturing children's interests with warmth and care, encouraging empowerment through child-initiated experiences, and fostering strong connections with families and communities. With a mission to inspire and nurture everyone to achieve their full potential, the service prioritises quality, teamwork, and training opportunities and promotes a culture of recognition and reward.

Staff and families also benefit from a close connection to a nursing home just behind the centre. Children enjoy regular weekly visits from older people - a beautiful exchange of communication and a journey to be part of. About you

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (minimum) as approved by ACECQA

  • At least one year of experience in leading a room or 3-4 years of experience as an Educator with a natural ability to lead.

  • Be passionate about making an impact on both the development of children in your care and the professional development of educators in your team.

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and grow trusting relationships with colleagues, families and the local community.

  • Have an understanding of contemporary child-safe practices and early learning frameworks.

  • Last but not least, have a sunny personality and a positive mindset
