The Opportunity

We're looking for skilled and experienced local Emergency Services Officers (ESO's) to join our casual pool for an emergency response team. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security, by implementing emergency response plans and coordinating emergency response efforts.

As an emergency response team casual pool member, you'll deliver a blend of administrative, logistical, and operational skills to coordinate and respond effectively to various emergency situations.

This is a great opportunity for ESO's living in the Geraldton / Mid-West region who are already employed and looking for some additional work as you would be utilizing your expertise in providing additional support to project crews when available.

About You

  • Living within the Geraldton / Mid-West region
  • 3+ years' experience in emergency response or related field
  • Experience in an industrial or marine environment
  • Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols and procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Physically fit and ready for the demands of the job

Requirements

  • PUA30622 – Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
  • OR RII30719 – Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue
  • Australian Driver's Licence
  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid – needs to be current within 3 years
  • HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – needs to be current within 12 months
  • National Police Clearance Certificate (current within 6 months of appointment)
  • Full Australian Working Rights
