A world leading quantum tech company is expanding its hardware team and now hiring
Senior
Electronics Engineers
to design and develop high-performance circuits for complex technology platforms.
In this role, you will focus on
analog and mixed-signal circuit design
to translate research concepts into reliable, field-ready products. You will design and prototype low-noise front-end electronics, signal conditioning circuits, and ADC/DAC integration, working closely with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure high-fidelity signal capture and processing. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced R&D environment.
This is a full-time role based in Sydney.
Full relocation is required for interstate candidates; relocation allowance is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, simulate, and test high-speed analog and mixed-signal circuits centered on SoC platforms (Zynq).
- Split work across circuit design and modelling/simulation, producing reports and documentation.
- Develop and optimise low-noise amplifiers, filters, and signal conditioning blocks.
- Create PCB designs using KiCAD (Altium experience transferable) and oversee manufacture and assembly.
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers across research and product launch projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulated industry standards (aerospace, defence, medical, automotive, or industrial).
- Contribute to improving processes in a fast-moving, startup-style environment.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in
high-speed analog and mixed-signal circuit design
. - Familiarity with PCB design tools such as KiCAD or Altium.
- Strong background in modelling, simulation, and producing technical reports.
- Experience across the product life cycle, from R&D to design for manufacture.
- Ability to work in regulated industries with strict compliance standards.
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience with RF, microwave, or optoelectronics.
- Background in product-focused development within aerospace, defence, or medical devices.
- Leadership in mentoring or process improvement.
