A wonderful opportunity now exists for Casual School Crossing Supervisors to join Warrnambool City Council. This position will ensure the safe passage of children and adults at school crossings, and be the friendly face who kids remember and trust.

As this is a casual position, the location of the crossing can change dependant on the day. If you have a preference for a crossing or area of town that you wish to work in, please let us know.

The School Crossing hours are generally between 8.00am to 9.00am in the mornings and between 3.00pm to 4.00pm in the afternoons (Mondays to Fridays except for School Holidays & Public Holidays).

The successful applicant will have:

• Knowledge of road rules and good sense of judgement.
• Available to work at short notice.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and autonomously.

Council provides all successful applicants with training and an official uniform to complete the School Crossing position safely and effectively.

Hourly Rate: $40.45 per hour (inclusive of industry allowance and 25% casual loading)
