MC Truck Driver – Drill Rig & Heavy Equipment Transport

Location: Kalgoorlie Based Company

Employment Type: Casual with the opportunity for Full-Time Employment

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced MC Truck Driver to join our growing team. This is not your average driving job — your primary responsibility will be floating drill rigs and heavy equipment to and from site locations. A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to assist with truck and trailer maintenance is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safe and efficient operation of MC trucks, primarily floating drill rigs and various heavy equipment.
  • Basic maintenance and pre-start checks of trucks and trailers.
  • Assisting with the mobilisation and demobilisation of rigid trucks and related equipment.
  • Running parts and materials to site as required.
  • General yard duties and support for workshop and field teams.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid MC Licence with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience transporting heavy machinery or drill rigs.
  • Solid understanding of load restraint, safety regulations, and fatigue management.
  • Basic mechanical skills and the ability to identify and report maintenance issues.
  • Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Forklift licence or other relevant tickets.
