Introduction

AE Live is looking for a talented individual with a deep passion for Sport to join our Sydney team to help cover some of the biggest sporting broadcasts both domestically and internationally. The successful candidate will receive training to develop the necessary skills to operate our bespoke software and data systems while working on the biggest sports broadcasts on the planet. Experience as a Broadcast Graphics Operator will be highly regarded. Candidates MUST have the right to live and work in Australia to be considered for this role.

Role: Graphics Operator (Sydney, Australia)

Reporting to: Project Manager and Operations Director

Graphics Operators oversee and are responsible for the Graphics delivery on Outside Broadcasts and studio productions. This will entail both technical facilities and operational delivery of graphics.

The role of Graphics Operator will include:

  • Operate AE Live's systems to provide LIVE sports graphics to Australia's leading broadcasters
  • Prepare graphics for shows both ahead of time and on the day of TX
  • Rigging and trouble shooting equipment onsite as required
  • Liaise with client production teams and wider AE team including software and design
  • Full understanding of the entire graphics workflow on site and collaboration with production partners

The ideal candidate must:

·     
Have the right to live and work in Australia

·      Demonstrate a passion for sports

·      Excellent understanding and knowledge of multiple sports such as NRL, Football, Rugby & Tennis

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·      Be organised, punctual and have an exceptional level of concentration

·      Be able to handle high pressure situations

·      Have a logical approach to problem solving

·      Be adaptive to changing requirements for broadcasts

·      Willing to work flexible hours, r
egular weekend work is to be expected

·      Be comfortable travelling locally, interstate, and occasionally overseas, for assignments

·      Be Computer literate

·      Demonstrate a strong level of English spelling and grammar

·      Possess Full Australian Drivers Licence

·      Knowledge of Adobe Platform & Viz Trio highly regarded
