We've partnered with a highly regarded civil contractor to recruit Project Engineers for newly awarded, long-term TMR projects across North Queensland. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for engineers who want stability, development, and exposure to major road infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Plan, design, document, and manage daily construction activities.
  • Implement and monitor the project program for engineering deliverables.
  • Lead and support your team to meet project outcomes efficiently and safely.
  • Oversee project resources and ensure cost-effective delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and the broader project team.
  • Ensure all work aligns with QA, Environmental, and Safety Management Plans.
  • Complete financial, operational, and survey reporting requirements.
  • Promote and maintain a high-standard safety culture.

What You'll Need

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience with TMR or other Australian main roads projects is essential.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction, design principles, and site delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to drive a safe, compliant, and positive work environment.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic project-based environment.
