Established in 1999, we are a successful and growing IT company that provides both products and services to our clients. We are a small, tight-knit team and are looking for a new member to manage our financial accounts.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team for one day a week at our Crows Nest office. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for all day-to-day accounts functions, reporting directly to the director. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is looking to broaden their skills and have a direct impact on the financial health of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable: Processing and managing all vendor invoices and payments.
  • Accounts Receivable: Managing client invoicing and follow-ups.
  • Bank and Sales Reconciliation: Performing regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • BAS Preparation: Assisting with the preparation and lodgement of Business Activity Statements.
  • Payroll: Managing weekly or fortnightly payroll for a small team.
  • All other general accounts-related tasks as required.

Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a bookkeeper.
  • Expertise in MYOB (non-cloud), including hands-on experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A strong customer-focused approach.

Please note: Basic training on our specific processes will be provided, but you must be a confident and experienced MYOB user from the start.
