**About the Company**

Over the past decade, Peninsula Physical Health and Nutrition (PPN) dietitians have serviced the Mornington Peninsula and wider, providing quality nutrition education to over eight private practices, three private hospitals and numerous corporate and community groups.

We are looking for a flexible, hardworking and passionate Dietitian to join our team. This will be a full-time (part-time considered), 12-18 month maternity leave position, with the possibility to extend beyond this. The role is located on the Mornington Peninsula and requires daily travel between hospitals, clinics and home visits

As a Dietitian at PPN you must be a willing and self-directed learner and take responsibility for personal performance as well as take a proactive approach to the role and workplace. You must feel confident working autonomously at our private hospitals and private clinics.

**This is a versatile role which will include**:

- Clinical dietetics (acute and sub-acute) across three private hospitals
- One-on-one consultations (face-to-face and/or telehealth) within our private practice clinics
- NDIS home visits
- DVA home visits
- Corporate education sessions
- Community group education sessions

**You must be confident in the following dietetic areas or be willing to upskill**:

- Diabetes
- Bariatrics (VLCD diets and nutritional ketosis)
- Weight Loss
- Heart Disease, high cholesterol, fatty liver
- Gastrointestinal disorders (Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis, Coeliac Disease)
- Food Intolerances (FODMAP diet)
- Eating disorder and Paediatrics
- Enteral nutrition (NGT feeds and TPN)
- ICU

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent Masters/PhD or higher qualifications
- Must have working experience in private practice clinics with one-on-one client consultations
- Experience working within hospital setting (acute and sub-acute) is highly desirable
- Preferably lives on the Mornington Peninsula, or willingness to travel.
- Current Australian licence and car to travel between various locations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of Microsoft suite programs and computer software for recording patient notes
- Strong time-management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current Registration and appropriate working status with Dietitians Australia
- Professional indemnity and Public liability insurance for 10 million dollars minimum
- Qualifications, registrations and insurances must remain current for term of employment
- Your own working laptop

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Performance bonus
