We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Hair & Beauty Trainee to join our energetic, client-focused salon team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced professionals, and develop your skills through practical salon work and formal training programs.

What You'll Be DoingSalon Support & Hair Services

• Assist senior stylists with shampooing, conditioning, colouring, and styling hair
• Help with hair treatments and provide relaxing head massages under supervision
• Support stylists during cutting, colouring, and styling sessions
• Learn to advise clients on suitable hair and beauty products
• Operate the point-of-sale system and assist in monitoring daily transactions

Client Experience

• Welcome clients warmly and provide refreshments when appropriate
• Ensure clients feel comfortable, cared for, and valued throughout their visit
• Build confidence in client interactions and service delivery

Salon Operations & Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the salon
• Reset stations and ensure tools and equipment are hygienic and ready for use
• Learn and follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures

Training & Development

• Attend formal training sessions (e.g., Aveda) and workshops
• Stay updated on the latest hairdressing and beauty trends
• Work towards mastering new techniques and improving your skills

Tools You'll Be Using

• Fresha – for managing appointments and client records
• Payroller – for logging hours and payroll processing

What We're Looking ForEntry-Level Requirements:

• No formal qualifications required
• Strong passion for hair and beauty and a willingness to learn
• Available to start immediately
