Position Overview:

Are you an energetic, motivated, and outgoing professional with a passion for training and assessing? The Australian Growth Institute (AGI) is seeking a dedicated Trainer and Assessor to deliver disability support courses. This role offers flexibility, with options for full-time, part-time, or contract positions, tailored to the right candidate. You'll be teaching career-focused students in the Parramatta area, helping them kickstart their journey in the disability sector.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Current).
  • Certificate IV in Disability Support.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Trainer and Assessor at AGI, you will:

  • Provide high-quality training and assessment services to students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Engage in reviews, validation, and continuous improvement of training resources and assessments.
  • Stay current with industry practices to ensure relevant training.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential and completing a Nationally Recognised Qualification.

  • Well-presented, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
  • Experienced in education/training or has relevant industry experience.
  • Skilled in delivering engaging presentations.
  • Able to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
  • Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ready to obtain a Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant and current industry experience.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Experience in training and assessing.
  • Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong multitasking and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and autonomously.
