An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Plant Operator to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in St Lawrence. Reporting to the Team Leader - Infrastructure this position provides assistance with coordination, integration and delivery of services and the construction, maintenance and operational delivery of vehicles, plant and equipment across Isaac Regional Council.

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 12 months experience in similar role
  • Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics and general maintenance
  • Plant tickets relevant to the job i.e. loader, roller, grader (other plant tickets are desirable)
  • Ability and willingness to undertake labouring duties when required
  • 'C' Class driver's licence (or higher is desirable)
  • Construction White card
  • Applicants must hold a current HR (Heavy Rigid) truck licence to be considered for this role. Please ensure your licence details are included in your application.

BENEFITS

  • Salary $67, $71,319.68 per annum
  • Nominally 38 hours per week (3 x 10-hour days and 1 x 8-hour day, Monday - Thursday)
  • 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
  • Up to 14.5% super in accordance with IRC's Certified Agreement
  • RDO's in accordance with IRC's Certified Agreement
