Horsham Grampians, Australia Winda-Mara Aboriginal Corporation Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Are you looking for a position that will see you achieve real and meaningful outcomes that positively affect our community?

The Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Worker supports the mental health and wellbeing of individuals, families, and carers affected by mental health and alcohol or other drug (AOD) issues.

This role involves facilitating the intake and triage process, delivering culturally appropriate health promotion activities, and coordinating group programs and community events for the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. The SEWB Worker supports harm reduction initiatives, promotes culturally safe care, and strengthens referral pathways through collaboration with internal teams, VACCHO, and external health services.

Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate client records, participating in training, and ensuring all work aligns with clinical and ethical standards. The role requires strong community engagement skills, cultural competence, and a commitment to improving access to holistic, integrated care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The SEWB Worker reports to the Team Leader or Health Programs Manager and contributes to broader team goals as required.

We offer a competitive salary, including tax savings with remuneration subject to experience.
