Job Title: Cafe All-Rounder

We're looking for a passionate, energetic, and reliable Cafe All-Rounder to join our friendly team If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, love coffee, and thrive on delivering excellent customer service, this could be the role for you.

About the Role:

As a Cafe All-Rounder, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the cafe. You'll be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers with a positive attitude and providing friendly, attentive service
  • Taking orders, handling payments using POS systems, and managing cash transactions
  • Preparing high-quality beverages, including barista-made coffees (latte art is a bonus)
  • Assisting with food preparation and presentation when needed
  • Maintaining cleanliness across all areas of the cafe, including the dining area, coffee station, and kitchen
  • Washing dishes and supporting with general cleaning tasks throughout the shift
  • Opening the cafe in the morning and/or closing at the end of the day
  • Collaborating with the team to deliver a welcoming and efficient cafe experience

About You:

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has barista experience and is confident in preparing coffee to a high standard
  • Is reliable, punctual, and adaptable to a variety of tasks
  • Works well in a team environment and brings a positive energy to the workplace
  • Has strong communication and customer service skills
  • Takes pride in keeping the cafe clean and organised
  • Is available to work weekday and weekend shifts, including early mornings and/or afternoons

Bonus Skills:

  • Latte art experience
  • Previous experience opening and closing a venue
  • Food handling knowledge or certification
