Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes in line with Yaya's Mediterranean-inspired menu
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of food at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Manage kitchen cleanliness, organisation, and food hygiene standards
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and workplace health & safety policies
  • Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook in a busy kitchen
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role
  • Formal culinary qualifications preferred (Cert IV in Kitchen Management or equivalent)
  • Passion for Greek/Mediterranean cuisine
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
