About the role

Iconic Construction Industries is seeking enthusiastic Construction Industry Tradesmen (Carpentry & Plastering) as well as Labourers to join our team on a casual basis in Rockhampton/Yeppoon area of QLD. As a key member of our construction crew, you assist in the successful delivery of a range of commercial building and maintenance projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an industry-leading construction company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Tradesman duties per trade and general labouring duties as directed on various construction sites
  2. Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively
  3. Helping to prepare and maintain work areas, materials and equipment
  4. Following all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  5. Contributing to the efficient and timely completion of construction projects

What we're looking for

  1. Own tools, in working order and maintained
  2. Current Drivers Licence and Construction Induction (White) Card
  3. Previous experience in a commercial construction
  4. Enthusiasm for working in a hands-on environment and a commitment to safety
  5. The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  6. Good communication and problem-solving skills
