Protech is looking for Haul Truck, Multi Skilled, and Excavator Operators to join their workforce. The BIBO (Bus In, Bus Out) and DIDO (Drive In, Drive Out) basis suggests that this could be a role where you either get transported to the work site or drive yourself, depending on your preference.

Protech have partnered with Foxleigh Coal Mine since early 2019. Foxleigh Coal Mine is located 15km from Middlemount, Queensland. The mine has an annual production capacity of 3 million tonnes of coal, and the longevity of the pit provides security in your mining career, with an expected minimum of 10 years mine life remaining.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE (Experienced):

  • Haul Truck operators - $55.60/hr $100 daily attendance bonus $6000 annual retention bonus

Experience required - CAT 785/789/793 & 830E

  • Multi-Skilled operators - $57.67/hr $125 daily attendance bonus $6000 annual retention bonus

Experience required - D10T, D11T, CAT 14H,16H, 24H

  • Excavator operators - $64.00/hr $150 daily attendance bonus $6000 annual retention bonus

Experience required - LIB 994, 996, 9800, HIT 3600, 5500

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • 7/7 even time roster (alternating dayshift & nightshift) – with the option of even time pays

  • $6000 Annual Retention Bonus

  • Daily Site Attendance Bonuses - opportunity to earn up to $1050 per swing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operating machinery efficiently and safely as a highly skilled production operator

  • Complying with site's policies and procedures

  • Responding to instructions from Mining Supervisor

  • The successful candidates will have a minimum of 18 months demonstrated coal experience operating machinery.

COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Machinery Evidence (Training Transcript/Site Authorisations/ RII Certificates)

  • Health Assessment (Coal Board Medical)

  • Standard 11

  • Current Drivers Licence

  • Two contactable references to verify experience/skills
