We are partnered with a successful, remote-first SaaS company who are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to fuel their next phase of growth as they invest heavily in their data function.

You will be building a modern data environment from the ground up and playing a key role in defining what the analytics landscape looks like moving forward.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership, put their own stamp on things and create something genuinely impressive.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and driving the build-out of their data warehouse/data lake - this is a big, long-term project where your work will directly shape how data is ued across the business
  • Designing, developing and optimising data pipelines to support analytics and reporting intiatives
  • Partnering closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, high-performance data solutions
  • Influencing how things are done as they will ultimately be building a team around you

Skills we are looking for:

  • Experience building or significantly shaping a data warehouse or data platform
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL
  • Skilled in data modelling and modern cloud technologies
  • Strong communicator who can collaborate cross-functionally
  • Good leadership ability as you will be helping to set the technical direction

This is a high impact, high visibility role and what you build will become the backbone of analytics across the business.
