About the Division

The Academy Services Division provides a range of specialist services to teams across the Academy, and to program participants (potential and current) to ensure high quality professional learning, and an optimal experience for our stakeholders. The Division's four specialist areas include learning design, data evaluation and evidence, communications and marketing, and participant and program support.

About the Role

Please note this a fixed term position from 1 January - 30 June 2026

This position requires the successful applicant to demonstrate initiative and experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis tools, methods and processes. This includes the ability to manage and draw insights from complex data sets and produce fit for purpose analysis and reports.

Capabilities

Successful applicants for this role will be able to demonstrate capabilities and experience in the following areas.

  • Data collection and maintenance: Ability to accurately collect, clean, and maintain datasets, ensuring data integrity and consistency to support reliable monitoring, reporting, and evaluation activities.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Demonstrated skillset in applying analytical methods (qualitative and quantitative) to interpret data, identify trends, and prepare clear and accurate reports that support program monitoring and decision making.
  • Project scoping and planning: Ability to contribute to the design and planning of data-related projects by clarifying objectives, defining tasks, and supporting timelines and processes to ensure effectively delivery.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving: Ability to investigate issues methodically, apply sound judgement, and contribute practical, evidence-informed solutions to support effective monitoring and evaluation.
  • Stakeholder engagement and consultation: Ability to support engagement with internal and external stakeholders, gather feedback, and contribute to ensuring data and reporting outputs meet stakeholder needs and expectations.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualification in data analytics/data science, research, and/or evaluation

Essential: Demonstrated experience in data analysis, literature reviews, systems thinking and research into professional learning.
