About the Role:

As the Senior Service & Maintenance Security Technician, you will lead a team of technicians and take ownership of delivering exceptional maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services across a variety of electronic security systems. You will also act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strong relationship management.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Lead and support technicians through task allocation, mentoring, and performance check-ins.
• Diagnose faults and deliver effective technical solutions through on-site inspections.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, upgrades, installations, and commissioning across alarms, CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.
• Respond to service calls and breakdowns promptly, ensuring safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance, including testing, calibration, and software updates.
• Work collaboratively with sales and project teams on system design, upgrades, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and equipment records.

What You'll Bring:

• Must be an Australian Citizenship (NV1 Security Clearance eligibility required – Secom will support this)
• QLD Security Licence or ability to obtain one 5+ years' experience in electronic security systems installation, maintenance, or commissioning
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in managing field teams
• Drivers licence
• White Card and Asbestos Awareness Card (or ability to obtain)
• Strong technical knowledge of Gallagher, Tecom, Inner Range, or similar systems
• Excellent communication, client engagement, and team coordination skills
• Trade qualifications in electronics, security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have:

• Qualifications in electronics, security systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience providing client-facing technical advice
• Exposure to project support activities or system upgrade delivery
